The silver braid is applied on both sides of the ribbon. The lace-trimmed cuffs are finished with a triple-layer of pleated organza edged with lace and pink satin double bows. The cuffs fasten with buttons and corded loops. The silver metallic “lei” swags across the torso from the right shoulder to the left waist; then the looped end falls to knee level. All seam allowances are hand-overcast.
