Teapot from five piece hot-beverage service with vase-shaped body, applied bands of beading at rim and shoulders on stepped, domed circular foot, S-shaped fluted and chased spout, domed hinged cover with cast beaded urn finial, body decorated with repoussé-chased festoons of flowers tied with bowknots, and C-scroll silver handle with applied flower-bud furls and ivory insulators. Inscription: Engraved in Gothic letters on body: NLF. Mark: Struck on underside in lozenge flanked by pseudo-hallmarks: CC & D.
