Child's Tankard

Tankard with slightly tapered cylindrical body, molded baseband, S-shaped strap handle with applied beaded rattail and trifid handle terminal, stepped flat-top cover with three-knuckled attachment, curved indented thumbpiece, crenate projecting flange at front (patch on cover beneath thumbpiece). Inscription: Engraved on base: "M*R". Mark: Struck on body, either side of handle near rim: "C LR" conjoined in oval.
