Description Spectacles case with seamed construction forming elongated oval, ornamented with engine-turned diapering on bottom and top, flanking central reserve outlined with engraved scrolls, hinged cover with applied knurled molding on both sides of joint, and push-button catch release. Inscription: Engraved within reserve on body in script: S. Arden. Mark: Maked on reverse above joint molding: [sovereign's head] [maker's mark] [date letter]. Below joint molding: [lion passant] [maker's mark] [anchor].
