Child's Porringer and Underplate

Child's porringer and underplate from nine-piece dinner service. Porringer with circular body, decorated with border frieze of children and dog marching holding musical instruments and weapons against matte ground, and cast open work handle with cherub's head. A similar border is on the underplate. Inscription: On base of porringer and underplate in script: From Grandpa / Christmas 1893.
