Description The manager has effected a re-engagement with Mr. Forrest for six nights, who will appear in his celebrated character of Spartacus in "The Gladiator", with Mr. Wallack as Phasarius. Stoves have been erected under the stage and in every part of the theatre, upon the most efficacious plan of conveying a thorough heat throughout the house. To conclude with the first and second acts of "Mazeppa". Dr. Bird's tragedy of "Oralloossa", written expressly for Mr. Forrest, is in rehearsal. A new melodrama of intense interest called "The Whistler; or, The Fate of the Lily of St. Leonard" is in rehearsal.
