Description Sugar bowl with raised inverted pyriform lower body on circular foot with concave fluting. Body divided into arched panels chased with thistles on matte ground. Neck seamed and applied, cast S-scroll handles with floral bud furls, terminating in cornucopias. Die-rolled foliage and blossom borders applied at shoulders and foot, beading applied at lip and cast thistle finial soldered to domed sugar bowl cover. Inscription: Engraved on handle in script: DAEH. Mark: Marked on underside: B. Gardiner.
