Teapot from tea service in form of a seamed oval with straight sides and straight seamed spout, hinged domed cover with pineapple finial held in place by silver screw and shaped silver nut, wooden C-handle with carved furl, engraved with bright-cut and wriggle-work borders at lip or edge, decorated with garlands of leaves and flowers engraved on sides, and bright-cut oval shield suspended from bowknot at center. Inscription: Engraved on body: EG.
