Description 1876 centennial. First appearance of the Irish comedians, Messrs. Scanlon and Cronin, in their new Irish sketch, "Life in a Tenement House". Mr. Harry Montague in his songs, sketches, nice hits and naughty novelties. First appearance at this theater of Messrs. McKee and Rogers, the American eccentrics, in their original act, "Minstrelsy Exposed and Scenes in Fairy Land". Mr. Charles Young, the master ventriloquist of the world, with his talking heads and funny little men - the Englishman, the Irishman, the Scotchman, the Negro, the Old Woman who smokes her pipe, and the two unruly youths, Tom and Jerry. Messrs. Hogan and Lord, Mr. Chas. Benedict, Mr. P. Murphy, Mark Hughes, Mr. Eugene Blitz, in their songs, dances, sketches and specialties. Miss Henrietta Mollenhauer, Miss Carrie Duncan, Miss Julia Wilson in operatic, serio-comic and burlesque sensation songs, together with 50 prominent artists in a grand olio of specialties. The centennial overture, dedicated to Robt. W. Butler, by Prof. Joseph Ali. Special notice - ladies accompanied by gentlemen admitted free on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Popular prices of admission: admission to all parts of the house, 50 cents; dress circle, 30 cents; gallery, 20 cents; private boxes, $5.00. Regular matinees Wednesday and Saturday.
