Fifth night of the new drama in three parts entitled “The Cricket on the Hearth: A Fairy Tale of Home”, dramatized by Albert Smith, by permission of Charles Dickens, and played at the Lyceum Theatre, London, to crowded houses. Thursday, the comedy of “The Rivals”, with “The Miseries of Human Life” and “Done Brown”. Friday, Mr. Geo. Vandenhoff will appear as Kitely, in the celebrated comedy of “Every Man in His Humour” by Ben Jonson, not performed in this city for upwards of 35 years. The manager has the pleasure of announcing an engagement for a limited number of nights with Mrs. Seguin, Mr. Frazer and Mr. Seguin, who with Mr. F. Meyer, late first basso of the German opera, will appear on Monday, March 9, for the first time in America, in the new comic opera of “Don Pasquale” by Donizetti. The manager has the pleasure of announcing an engagement for a limited number of nights with Mr. Marble.
