Description This establishment does not advertise in the New York Herald. Genuine success of the beautiful romantic play in five acts, “St. Marc; or, The Soldier of Fortune”, written expressly for Mr. E. L. Davenport, who will appear in his great character of the Hero, supported by a powerful cast, including Mr. J. B. Studley. The orchestra will perform the following music, arranged by and under the direction of Thos. Baker: Overture, “La Dame Blanche” by Boieldieu; selection from the new opera of “The Cobbler of Comare” – “The Romanza”; duet, valse and finale; polka, “The Firework” by Baker, with imitation sky rockets; valse, “Fair Star” by C. D. Aubert; and galop, “The Hurrah”. In accordance with universal desire, Mr. E. L. Davenport will shortly have the honor of appearing as Sir Giles Overeach, in Massinger’s play of “A New Way to Pay Old Debts”. Notice – the gentlemen’s retiring and refreshment saloon is now open at the back of the parquet. Opera glasses on hire in the lobby. Prices of admission – dress circle and parquette, 75 cents. Balcony chairs and reserved seats, $1.00. Orchestra chairs, $1.50. Family circle, 30 cents. Private boxes, $5.00, $8.00 and $10.00.
