Description Open every night during the week. Under the direction of Fellows & Wood. Program for this evening, part first – representing the dandy negroes of the North. Introductory overture by the full band. Opening chorus, “Happy are We Darkies so Gay” by the company. “Massa sound Sleeping” by R. White. “Sweep Oh – a Refrain” by W. D. Corrister. “Old Folks at home” by J. A. Herman. “Sweet Hominey” by A. L. Thayer. “Whip-Poor-Will Song” by R. White. “Carry Me Long” by W. D. Corrister. “Masquerade Waltz” by J. A. Herman. “Quick Step” by the full band. Part second – banjo solo by T. F. Briggs. “Plantation Jig” by R. H. Sliter. Burlesque Shakers with features entirely original with this company. A grand musical fantasia performing several popular melodies on the harmonicans, in a very pleasing and novel manner, by the Hungarian Czarwenki Joski. “Fling Ethiopia” by R. H. Sliter. Part third – representing the characteristics peculiar to the plantation darkies of the South. Overture by the full band. “Joe of Tennessee” by Corrister. “I must go to Richmond” by A. L. Thayer. “Tinkling de Banjo” by J. A. Herman. “Ann Eliza” by W. W. Newcomb. Banjo trio by Briggs, Thayer and Newcomb. Finale, grand terpsichorean display, introducing the Holiday Festival Dance, by Newcomb, Thayer and company. On Monday evening, January 26, benefit of R. H. Sliter.
