Description One of twelve cupholders for porcelain cups from gold coffee service with inverted bell-shape body on circular foot, applied laurel wreath border at lip, four foliate scroll motifs on body, and cast and applied c-handle with leaf furl. These cupholders are used with the porcelain cup inserts also part of the service. Inscription: In script on body: JAHIL / 1886 / 1936. Mark: On foot rim interior of cup holder: BLACK, STARR & FROST / 14 KT.
