Description
Creamer part of a three-piece tea service with raised round melon-reeded body with diamonds at top of reeds, die-rolled floral-and-leaf borders in three sizes applied at lip, shoulder, juncture of the body and pedestal, and edge of stepped circular pedestal, and S-scroll handle with leaf furl at top. Inscription: Engraved on body: J.M.B Jr. / from his / Grandmother / E.B. Engraved in upper and lower-case italics on underside of foot: Mary Bradhurst 1840 Augusta Currie Field 1880 Mary Pearsall Field 1919 [star] / William Bradhurst Osgood Field Jr. 1929. Mark: Struck once on inside of creamer foot in script within rectangle: W Thomson.
