Description Teapot from tea service with raised inverted pyriform body on stepped circular base, repoussé-chased with floral, scroll, and shell ornament. S-scroll handle with two ivory insulators inserted in handle. Gooseneck spout decorated with applied shell-and scroll ornament and chased with leaves at juncture with body, and hinged domed cover with acorn finial soldered in place on pot. Inscription: Engraved on body, within reserve: AMB / Jany. 1st 1849. Mark: Marked twice on underside: Z. BOSTWICK. Marked twice on underside: [anchor in oval] / Z/B / [profile head.]
