Description
Teapot from tea service with raised round melon-reeded body. Reeds interspersed with repoussé-chased arrows, on stepped circular base. Die-rolled border of cornucopias, shells, and flowers in four sizes inserted at lip, shoulder, foot, and base. S-scroll handle with ivory insulators, gooseneck spout with midband, floral-and-leaf applique at tip, domed cover with repoussé-chased ornament, and cast finial in form of baskets of flowers soldered in place. Inscription: Engraved on body, in script: ET. Mark: Marked on underside: G. BOYCE.
