Description Teapot from tea service with urn-shaped pot, spreading circular foot on square plinth, beading at lip, shoulder and feet, engraved with Greek key border and floral wreaths around shields on body, cover triple-stepped with beading outlining each step, and topped with urn finial, S-shaped spout cast in two halves outlined with beading and ornament at tip, cast S-scroll handle with furl and drops, ivory insulators in pot handle, and pot spout bent under at tip. Inscription: Engraved within one shield on body with script initials: CM. Mark: Struck on underside: A. RUMRILL & CO. / [pseudohallmark] C & D. [pseudohallmark].
