Waste bowl from tea service with oblong body and sloping shoulders. Inset border below shoulder engraved with alternating floral paterae, cut-cornered rectangular reserves, and bands of diaperwork, on stepped pedestal base edge with two bands of gadrooning on four ball feet. Inscription: Engraved on body: E [JV or VT?] B. Mark: Struck on base: W. B. HEYER.
