Description
Teapot from tea service with seamed oblong body with cushion shoulders, square-C handle, stepped hinged cover with oblong urn finial, hollow cast ball feet. Ball feet soldered to one-half inch wide silver reinforcing strip applied to base and wood handle pinned into molded sockets. Inscription: Engraved on body in script: JST. Mark: Struck four times on base in conforming enclosure: W.G. Forbes.
