Description Notice - there will be no free list or complimentary admissions, excepting the usual privileges of the press. The new theater pronounced by the press and public the most commodious, elegant and best ventilated edifice in the city. Architect, Mr. Thomas R. Jackson, 229 Broadway. Masonry by Messrs. J. M. & W. Shute, 221 West 18th Street. Carpentry by L. Baldwin, 207 Bowery. Ironwork manufactured exclusively for the theater by George R. Jackson & Co., 201 Centre Street. The proscenium and carved decorations by J. W. Banta, 386 Bleecker Street. The upholstery draperies by G. L. & J. B. Kelty, 359 Broadway. The chandeliers, gas fittings and fixtures by Stephen Philbin, 707 Broadway. The plumbing by Frambach & Parsel, Sixth Avenue. Stained glass and papier mache by W. Gibson, Gibson's Building, Broadway. Oil painting throughout and paneling of front entrances by R. B. Fosdick, 145 Fifth Avenue. Ornamental and fresco painting by Messrs. H. Isherwood and Charles Engles. Gilding of the interior by Mr. James Timony. The carpets, green curtain, matting, &c. from Julian Brothers, 422 Broadway. New and improved stage machinery by Messrs. Van Hatten & Becroft. The border proscenium draperies painted by Sig. Primo. The act drop, designed and painted by that admirable artist, Mr. Hillyard. Tonight, the evening's entertainments will commence with a grand national Union overture. Between acts 2 and 3 of "The New President", Mazourka on Verdi's "Un Ballo in Maschera" by R. Stoepel. Boxes and parquet, 50 cents. Orchestra stalls, $1.00. Private boxes for seven persons, $7.00. Family circle, 25 cents.
