Description Afternoon performance, commending at 2 o'clock. Doors open at 1. Overture by the orchestra. After which, Planche's beautiful comedy, entitled "The Captain of the Watch". Recitation, "Idiot Boy", by the young American tragedienne, Miss Jane Coombes. To be followed by the pleasing comedy of "Popping the Question". After which, the laughable farce of "The Secret". To conclude with performance by Wood's Minstrels. Evening performance commencing at 7:30. Doors open at 6:30. Overture by the orchestra. After which, the admirable comedy of "Still Waters Run Deep". To be followed by a splendid musical intermezzo. After which, the droll farce entitled, "The Unprotected Female". Dan Bryant in his original plantation dance, "The Essence of Old Virginny". Comic song by Mr. Chapman, "The Teetotal Society", as originally sung by him at the old Park Theatre. To conclude with "Sketches In India". Tickets to all parts of the house, 50 cents. Thursday, the wonderful Ravels and entire company in "Asphodel" and a variety of entertainments.
