Description Order of performance: Overture by the orchestra, conductor, M. Romainville. To commence with the first tableau of "Le Diable a Quatre". Followed by the extraordinary evolutions on the tight rope by Mlle. Chiarini, M. A. Lehmann and the renowned young Hengler. After which, a new divertissement. An intermission of half an hour will be given for promenade and refreshments, when the elegant ladies' saloon attached to this establishment will be thrown open, where ices and ice creams will be served. The saloon on the south side of the Garden for gentlemen to smoke in. The entertainments will conclude with the last new grand comic fairy pantomime, entitled "Asphodel; or, The Magic Pen". Books descriptive of the pantomimes and ballets, translated by W. Corbyn, to be had in the Garden. A fine assortment of achromatic opera glasses to loan for the evening. Tickets, 50 cents. The only seats that can be secured in advance are orchestra chairs, $1.00, and private boxes, $5.00. Monday, Mr. Burton will appear in the favorite comedy of "Sweethearts and Wives", to which will be added "The Post of Honor".
