Description Now in the fourth year of its prosperous existence, having the accumulation of $4,000 in its treasury. Overture, "William Tell", by Italian Opera Orchestra, leader, Max Maretzek. After which the favorite farce of "The Young Widow". Followed by the fourth act of "The Lady of Lyons". Pas seul by Miss Gertrude Dawes. Followed by the comedietta of "A Morning Call". Pas de deux, Mlle. Henri and Mons. Mangin. After which the roaring farce called "The Irish Lion". Polka francais, Miss Francis and Mons. Wiethoff. Scene from the burletta of "In and Out of Place". Favorite songs by John Winans. Pas seul by Miss Julia Turnbull. Popular ballad by Miss Caroline Hiffert. Shelton's brass band in a variety of airs. All concluding with an act of "London Assurance". The bridge from the Garden to the Battery will be brilliantly illuminated with colored lamps and Chinese lanterns, and at the conclusion of the dramatic entertainment a grand display of fireworks will be made, under the direction of Messrs. Joseph and Isaac Edge of Jersey City. Castle Garden, the delightful summer resort. Special trips tonight by the Broadway, Bowery, Grand Street, East Broadway and all other omnibuses. Parapet promenade giving a full view of the beautiful harbor and the Battery. Coolest place in the city. Admission 50 cents.
