Description The Committee of Arrangements have the pleasure of informing the friends of Mr. Brough, and the public generally, that they have secured the voluntary profession cooperation of the following distinguished talent, on the occasion of the proposed benefit: Mr. Max Maretzek; Signa. Perrini; Signa. A. Bertucca; Sig. Beneventano; Signor Novelli, together with the full orchestra and chorus of the Astor Place Opera House. Mr. Wm. E. Burton, Mr. T. B. Johnston, Mr. and Mrs. Holman, Miss Mary Taylor, Mrs. E. Seguin, Mr. James Dunn, Miss C. Hiffert, Madame Otto, Mrs. Bailey, Miss Caroline Chapman, Miss G. Hill, Mr. F. Meyer, Mr. R. Hoffman, Mr. Griebel, Dodworth’s popular cornet band, Mr. George Loder, Herr Kreutzer, Signor La Manna and Mr. Brough will also appear in the course of the evening. Stewards of the evening: James W. Powell, James Underhill, James L. Hewit, Samuel Nichols, C. B. Burkhardt, John Wilson, P. A. Joachimssen, William Price and C. W. A. Rogers. Tickets, $1.00 each, are now ready at the pianoforte warerooms of Adam Stodart, the Treasurer, 325 Broadway, at various music stores and the principal hotels.
