Description Circular fruit bowl with scalloped everted lip outlined with cast and applied strawberry leaves and stems to which are appled eight clusters of three cast strawberries, on trumpet foot with scalloped edge outlined with stems to which are applied five clusters of cast strawberries. Inscription: Engraved on underside of bowl body with script monogram: HAC / 1834 December 23rd 1859. Engraved on other side of bowl body with script monogram: GHC / December 9th 1909. Mark: Incuse on underside of bowl, struck twice, one impression chattered: GALE & WILLIS. Incuse on underside of bowl: 925 STERLING / NEW-YORK / [diamond enclosing G & W / 1859].
