Description Sterling silver shallow hemispherical bowl with gilded interior, wavy lip, cast bacchanalian handles with grapevine mounts, applied wave lettering below lip, applied cast wavy band below with pendant seaweed tendrils, on high base composed of four cast Nereids whose hair floats up onto bowl emerging from waves. Inscription: Engraved on body, in wave lettering: WON BY TITANIA / FROM / BEDOUIN, GRACIE and KATRINA. Struck below lip, in applied wave lettering: THE GOELET PRIZE FOR SLOOPS 1889 / NOS AGIMUR TUMIDIS VELIS. Mark: Struck on underside of base, incuse: TIFFANY & CO. / 10221 M 0510 / STERLING SILVER.
