Description Sugar bowl with urn-shaped body continuing to circular pedestal base on square plinth, applied beading at lip, juncture of body, foot, and outer edge of the pedestal, bright-cut engraving of floral swag, bowknot with pendant shield within crossed laurel fronds on body, and flaring circular high domed cover with applied bezel surmounted by cast urn finial. Inscription: Engraved in script within shield suspended from swag and bow knot: HVBK. Mark: Struck on front plinth of foot: [spread eagle] / M / G. SCHANCK.
