Description
One of a pair of "flat" candlesticks with douter, circular pan and bobeche trimmed with milled gadrooned border. Socket equipped with sliding ejector and slot for scissors-type wick trimmer and conical douter with molded baseband, and acorn-like finial attached to thumb piece. Inscription: Engraved on douter body and on upper surface of thumbpiece: A. S. Mark: Marked on underside of base: SHEPHERD & BOYD.
