Inscription: Engraved on body: Presented to / JOHN DEGRAW / As a testimonial of Respect for his skill / as a Builder, and his faithful execution of / the Carpenter's Work in / erecting two Houses / Nos. 6 and 8, East 17th St. New York / for / A.
