Circular waste bowl from tea service on four cast ball-and-claw feet with narrow die-rolled gadrooned border applied at lip of piece and die-rolled border of acorns and oak leaves at shoulder. Inscription: Engraved in script on the base: T S & M Townsend. Mark: Two partial impressions of mark struck on base in a rectangle: I.W. FORBES.
