Description Sterling silver paper knife with scimitar-shape blade, relief floral spray on blade reverse, hollow handle of copper, partially gilded, in form of elongated melon with vine, leaves, and blossoms, and decorated with frog in relief on reverse and obverse. Inscription: Engraved on blade in Japanesque-style lettering: "C/A/B/I/8/8/7". Mark: Incuse, struck on blade just above ferrule: "THEO. B. STARR/STERLING"/[winged S] (Shiebler trademark).
