Description Pitcher of baluster form with hinged domed cover surmounted by acorn finial, neck with two applied reeded hoops, applied spout with cover, squared-c silver handle with applied furl and ivory rings, and applied reeded foot ring. Inscription: Engraved on base: The Gift of Moses Field to / John Maunsell Bradhurst of Pinehurst New York / on his marriage to Elizabeth Wilmerding./ April 26th 1806. / Bequeathed to their daughter / Mary Elizabeth Bradhurst. Wife of Hickson W. Field, Jr. / of Rome, Italy 1855. / and by her to her great-nephew William Bradhurst Osgood Field, Feby 18th 1897 / Given to W.B.O. Field Jr. Dec-25-57.
