[duplicate of 47.173.265] Letter notes that Jerome Bonaparte has wed Miss Elizabeth Patterson, to which match the First Consul (Napoleon) might object; explaining that the marriage could not have been prevented and outlining the bride's excellent parentage which "fix rank in a country where there are no hereditary titles."
