Description
Teapot with seamed elliptical body, concave shoulders, slightly domed hinged cover, cast acorn finial with leaves, straight seamed spout, wooden scroll handle pinned into silver sockets (one pin in lower socket replaced), applied beading at shoulder and base, bright-cut wreath engraved on outer shoulder edge and basket of flowers engraved on cover and body to conceal hinge (old repair to base).
Inscription: Engraved on base: 18766 / oz / 20 / dwt / 16. Mark: Struck twice on underside of base in Roman caps: P.D.
