Description A new lyric entertainment, written by E. L. Blanchard, and composed expressly for and illustrated by Miss Emma Stanley. The entertainment is comprised in two parts. To commence at 8 o'clock with the overture, full orchestra conducted by Mr. Thomas Baker. An intermission of half an hour will be given for promenade and refreshments, when the elegant ladies' saloon attached to this establishment will be thrown open, where ices and ice creams will be served. The saloon on the south side of the garden for gentlemen to smoke in. Books containing the descriptive program and words of the songs with complete synopsis of the entertainment may be obtained in the house.  Concluding with a peculiar feature entitled "Polymelos", in which Miss Emma Stanley will give vocal illustrations in characteristic costumes in Italian, Turkish, Swiss, French, Scotch and Spanish. The elegant drawing room scene designed by Signor Allegri and painted by Mr. John Thorne and assistants. A fine assortment of opera glasses to loan for the evening. Special notice - the parquet, dress circle and boxes will be thrown open to the public without reservation of seats at a standard uniform price. Tickets, 50 cents. The only seats that can be obtained in advance are orchestra chairs, $1.00, and private boxes, $5.00. Friday, the wonderful Ravels, Mme. Robert, the ballet troupe, young Hengler on the tight rope, Zephyr and Flora, and the comic pantomime of "The Magic Trumpet". Miss Emma Stanley's evenings are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The wonderful Ravels will perform on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
