Description Loving cup with vase-shaped body, everted lip reinforced with applied molding, two molded C-scroll handles with furl and domed circular foot. Made by Meriden Britannia Company, which later became International Silver Company. Engraved on body: To the Women's Trade Union / In Appreciation / of Its Excellent Work / In Behalf of the / Female Wage Worker/ Presented by / the Ladies Waist, / & Dress Makers Union, / Local 25 I.L.G.W.U. / New York. /May 1st 1910. Marked on underside of foot: [eagle crest] / Sterling / 843 / 6 pts / 12 ½ / in.
