Description Lobed, gilded, and fused plate oval-shaped tray with two squared C-shaped handles, decorative beading along the edge, and decorated with flat chased foliage and geometric motifs on the surface. Inscription: Engraved on center obverse: C J / 1859. Mark: Attached to tray reverse is plaquette with oval shield supported by lion and unicorn beneath legend: JAMES DIXON & SONS / SHEFFIELD. On reverse above handle: 667 / [clover].
