Description Candle snuffer and wick trimmer with cast scissors-type arms, circular finger-pieces joined by circular pivot mounted on three baluster feet soldered to underside of lower blade and to underside of finger-pieces, seamed wick box engraved with bright-cut floral swags and oval reserve mounted to upper blade, upper blade engraved with bright-cutting, lower conforming blade underneath wick box possibly close-plated steel, and brass pin inserted in pivot. Inscription: Engraved within reserve on side of the wick box: MT. Mark: Marked on top upper blade: V&S.
