Description Teapot from tea service with oblong body, convex sides and cushion shoulders, foliate bright-cut band at lip, bright-cut engraved wreath and garland around shield-shaped reserves on body, four cast paw feet, square C-shaped wooden handle and oblong urn finial on lid. Inscription: Engraved in reserve on one side of body: SCH. Engraved on other side in reserve: May 11, 1799.  Mark: Marked on underside of base: J & PT / [two pseudohallmarks.]
