Description Evacuation Day. In honor of the anniversary of this day, the theater will be brilliantly illuminated, and a new transparency displayed, exhibiting a full length portrait of the immortal Washington and likewise a view of the evacuation of the city of New-York by the British. In the course of the evening, will be exhibited Ducrow's classic personification of the ancient statues, the various attitudes are arranged to appropriate music, and will be portrayed by Mr. Wieland. The whole arranged to appropriate music by Mr. Barrymore. To which will be added, a new farce entitled "The Omnibus; or, Short Stages". During the evening, the following songs: "Ye Sons of Freedom" by Mr. Richings; "The Boys of Kilkenny" by Mr. Thorne; "The Coal Black Rose" by Mr. Blakeley; and "Huzza for Columbia!" by Mr. Richings. Prior to the commencement of the tragedy, the orchestra will play for the first time a new national overture, composed and arranged expressly for this theater, and also the overture to "La Dame Blanche". A pas de deux by the Miss Wheatleys. "A Sailor's Hornpipe" by Mr. Collet. To conclude with the farce of "The Sprigs of Laurel". Saturday, Mr. Forrest's last night - the new tragedy of "The Gladiator" with Mr. Forrest as Spartacus. Auber's new opera of "Masaniello" will be produced on Monday, with Mr. Sinclair as Masaniello, as performed by him at the Drury Lane Theatre, London.
