Description Tall pot (possibly for tea) with raised elongated pyriform body, goose-neck spout ornamented with leaflike applique on top, cast molded circular foot, seamed hollow double S-scroll silver handle with ivory insulators and silver furl soldered to handle, strainer in spout, and raised, stepped, domed cover with acorn finial attached to body by three-knuckle hinge. Inscription: Engraved on body with script initials (rubbed): RMV. Mark: On underside in rectangle, struck twice: G.EOFF. On underside equidistant from center punch: [head] [lion passant] S /  [asterisk-like device]
