Description Clear cut glass ewer with silver handle, mouthpiece with stopper and chain, glass bowl with cut and gilded leaf sprays and tall neck. Low squat globe rises to lantern chimney shape neck. Globe is cut and partially gilded in a berry sprig pattern with cut star base under flared foot. Silver mounts join at waist above globe. Molded silver scrolled foliage forms elongated C-shaped handle rising to neck, spout mounts with similar decoration. Silver stopper is domed and fluted with scrolled foliate pull ring attached to silver chain. Mark: Marked above handle, below hip, incuse: [lion] [anchor] [Gothic letter G] STERLING S1304. Marked on stopper above cork: STERLING.
