Description Paper leaf hand painted in gouache. On recto: Chinese figures at play in riparian setting under a cherry blossom tree; applied gilding around border and on costumes. On verso: polychrome floral bouquet highlighted with gilding at center on plain white ground with stylized foliate border around perimeter. Monture of pierced ivory with birds and flowers on select sticks; gilt metal rivet with faceted clear paste stone.
