Description
Silver coffee pot with raised inverted pear-shaped body on molded splayed circular foot, hinged, molded, domed cover with pineapple finial, curved spout with shell-like ornament at top and gadrooning at lower juncture, wood handle with silver sockets, and gadrooned under top of handle with scrolled terminus. Inscription: Engraved in cipher: SSC. Later inscription on body: Samuel Cornell / 1756 - to / Susan Mabson. Mark: On center of base, in script: Myers. Scratched on base: 8403.
