Description
Part of a set consisting of a pitcher and two goblets. Spun tulip-shape goblet with everted lip, out-lined with scalloped vine on domed circular foot edged with double border of grapevine, body and foot repoussé-chased with grape leaves and grape clusters creating reserve on one side of the body. Inscription: Engraved within reserve on body: "JHH" in script. Mark: Struck on underside: "W. ADAMS" and "NEW-YORK" in serrated rectangles.
