Description Spun goblet with tulip-shape bowl on stem with applied filet, continuing to circular foot, die-rolled scroll border at lip, and chased and engraved geometric motif on foot.  Inscription: Engraved on body: "Presented to/HARBOR MASTER/James W. Husted/April 5th 1865 in honor of his reappointment/By his Friends/The Master Stevedores of New York".  Mark: Gorham trademarks struck on base: [lion passant] [anchor] [Gothic "G"] in rectangles; Incuse on base: "340".
