Description
Teapot from tea service with four-paneled circular body on stepped circular foot, crenate lip, hollow two-part scroll handle with ivory rings inserted in teapot handle, domed cover with onion-like finial, and goose-neck spout. Inscription: Engraved in script on side of the body: CML. Engraved in script on opposite side of the body: SRA. Mark: Struck in Roman caps within rectangle: JOHN H. ATKIN.
