Seamed coffee pot from five piece beverage service with octagonal tapered straight sides, decorated with engraved flowers in scrolled cartouches alternating with diaperwork, applied drawn moldings at lip and base, domed, hinged lid surmounted by mushroom-like finial, silver C-scroll handle with ivory insulators inserted into handle, and inside rim pierced with wire handle. Inscription: Engraved with script initials on body: HAC. Mark: Struck on underside of base: BALL, TOMPKINS & BLACK / [anchor] CC & D [arm and hammer] / N [pellet] Y.
