Description Cann with baluster-shape body, applied molding at everted lip on applied cast splayed foot, double-scroll handle with baluster-shape drop at upper juncture, oval disk at lower juncture (with old repairs), and pointed scroll tip. Inscription: Engraved with block initials on the top of the handle: "S/I [pellet] S"; Later shaded block initials engraved on the body "H-M-C". Mark: Struck at lip to the left of the handle: "P [pellet] V [pellet] D" in rounded rectangle.
